A guide is a PDF. You are buying a personal licence to read it, keep it, and print a copy for your own use. You may not resell it, republish it, or distribute it (to a school, a nursery, a group, or anywhere public) without asking first. Asking is usually fine.
Your download link does not expire. It checks your original payment each time, so it keeps working as long as the shop does.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any tax due. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; there is nothing added afterwards.
Your guide is a digital download, supplied immediately after payment.
Because delivery starts straight away, you are asked at checkout to agree to two things: that supply begins immediately, and that you understand you lose your right to cancel within 14 days once it has. This is the exemption in regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You cannot complete a purchase without agreeing to it, and we confirm your agreement in the email that carries your download.
None of this affects your rights if something is wrong with the guide. If it will not download, is not what was described, or is not of satisfactory quality, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still applies and you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or your money back.
Beyond the law, there is a promise: not worth it? Reply to your receipt within 7 days and receive a full refund. No form, no reason needed. It is a guide to children's books, not a mortgage.
That promise is goodwill on top of your legal rights, not a limit on them. If a guide is faulty, will not download, or is not as described, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies and there is no seven-day cut-off on it.
Payments are taken by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site.
If your download fails, reply to your receipt. If a guide is faulty or not as described, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies and you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
