This is a shop that sells PDF guides. It has no accounts, no logins and no customer database, so there is very little to say. That is the point.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Worth the Shelf Space, at:

Office 21082
182-184 High Street North
East Ham
London
E6 2JA

What is collected, and by whom

This site counts visits, anonymously, using PostHog. It is set up to store nothing on your device (no cookie, no localStorage, nothing that survives closing the tab), and to recognise no one from one visit to the next. It sees which pages get read and which buttons get clicked in the visit you are on, and nothing more: no name, no email, no way to connect what you did today to what you do tomorrow. That is also why there is nothing here to ask your consent for: the regulation that governs cookie banners (PECR) is about storing or reading something on your device, and nothing is stored.

When you press a buy button, the site also makes a random checkout reference and passes it to Stripe. PostHog receives the same reference when Stripe confirms that checkout was paid, so the shop can count completed purchases from its own buttons. The reference is not your name or email, and it is not reused after that checkout.

Your email address and payment details go to Stripe, not to us. Stripe takes the payment, holds the card details (they never touch this site), and sends the receipt. Stripe is the processor for that, under its own privacy policy at [stripe.com/privacy](https://stripe.com/privacy).

Your email address is then used once, to send your guide. That is done through Amazon SES, in the London region of Amazon Web Services. It is not added to a mailing list, because there isn't one.

What is kept

The record of your purchase lives in Stripe, for as long as Stripe and UK tax law require: six years for transaction records. There is no copy of it here.

The only thing stored on our own infrastructure is a short marker recording that your delivery email was sent, so a retry cannot send it twice. It holds the Stripe event reference and the guides bought, no personal data, and it is deleted after 30 days.

What is never done

Your details are not sold, shared for marketing, or passed to anyone beyond Stripe, Amazon SES and PostHog above. There is no advertising on this site, and PostHog is the only third-party script, run in the anonymous, nothing-stored mode described above, not for advertising or profiling.

Your download link

The link in your email carries a Stripe session reference. Anyone holding that link can download the guide, so treat it as you would the file itself. It does not identify you to anyone who has it, and it does not expire.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk). Most of what is held sits in Stripe, so a request may be passed to them. Email the address below and it will be dealt with either way.
